The purchased product is temporary promotional or sponsored placement associated with a curated word on OwnTheWord. No right in the underlying word is sold. There is no exclusivity outside this service.

NO AFFILIATION OR ENDORSEMENT

The appearance of a word, company, website, trademark or destination does not imply affiliation, endorsement, sponsorship or partnership between OwnTheWord and any third party unless expressly stated.

YOUR PROMISES

You represent that you are legally able to transact and, where required, at least 18.

You also represent that you are authorized to promote the submitted company or project; may submit its destination URL, display name and X handle; and will not impersonate another person or entity or submit infringing, deceptive, illegal, malicious or processor-prohibited material.

NO PERFORMANCE GUARANTEE

A purchase does not guarantee clicks, traffic, impressions, sales, conversions, SEO performance, exposure duration, return on investment or any other business result.

PAYMENT, FULFILLMENT AND REFUNDS

Placement is normally fulfilled immediately after verified payment. Another buyer may replace it immediately. A completed purchase is not automatically refundable merely because the placement was later replaced.

OwnTheWord may issue or require a refund for duplicate payment, technical failure, a stale checkout race, payment without possible fulfillment, platform error, an appropriate platform cancellation or removal, or where law requires it. Non-waivable consumer rights remain unaffected.

PLATFORM DISCRETION

OwnTheWord may reasonably remove listings, disable destinations, reserve or remove words, correct errors, prevent fraud, investigate complaints, comply with payment-processor requirements and comply with law.
