On OwnTheWord, “own”, “owner”, “claim”, “take” and similar expressions are informal product language referring only to holding the current top sponsored placement associated with a word on this service.

Purchasing a placement does not transfer, assign or grant ownership, intellectual-property rights, trademark rights, domain-name rights, property rights, exclusivity outside OwnTheWord, or any other proprietary right in or to the word or phrase.

3. REAL MONEY. REAL ACTIVITY.

Public prices, holders, takeovers and activity reflect successful transactions only. OwnTheWord does not fabricate bids, holders, activity, revenue or scarcity.

4. WE CAN CURATE THE GAME.

OwnTheWord may add, reserve, rename, suspend or remove words and may reject or remove listings for legal, safety, fraud, malware, impersonation, infringement, deceptive conduct, processor policy or other reasonable operational concerns.

5. THE LINK IS SPONSORED.

The current holder receives a clickable sponsored destination. Its appearance does not imply that OwnTheWord endorses or is affiliated with the holder or destination.
